Ｓtep 1・Appointment
First of all, please feel free to consult by email and/ or telephone. In the case of soon wishing to open a Shop or Design necessary Product please consult directly with Shigeo Nakamura Design Office to assist with the first plan design concept for the project. A Skype meeting can also be used to correspond.
Ｓtep 2・Consultation / site inspection
During this step we ask for the vision of the business, the operating conditions, a desired opening date, and the budget, etc. in detail. From this the floor plan layout concept design is planned. Following this we proceed to the site.
Ｓtep 3・Floor Plan / Design Presentation
We will propose the plan based on the consultation and understanding of the desired characteristic in accordance with related regulations and other essential needs. The traffic lines etc. are concretely verified, and the image and the layout, etc. are materialised. We will correct it as many times necessary until being possible to consent.
Ｓtep 4・Contract
Based on the design fee chart, we will make a contract.

Ｓtep 5・3D Rendering
At this stage, we develop sketches for your project and present to your attention 3D visualization of all rooms.
Ｓtep 6・Basic design
The drawing will include: finish table, plan, interior elevation, reflected plan, lighting arrangement list, fixture and furniture chart, and detailed chart in section, etc.During this stage we will finalise the budget, clarify any technical problems, the possible estimated variance in the budget, and submit the obtained estimate to you, the client. We also meet with the chosen construction company to study the final details. The budget will then be adjusted appropriately and brought to a close with the final document provided to the client.
Ｓtep 7・Execution design Design supervision
Estimates are obtained from various construction companies based on the basic scripted blueprint. Upon obtaining these estimates we will recommend several construction companies, explaining advantages and disadvantages of each. We like to seek the use of the construction company who is most reliable and can guarantee completion, satisfaction and commitment to fault maintenance after completion. We can also introduce the highest quality furniture production company in China.
During this stage we will finalise the budget, clarify any technical problems, the possible estimated variance in the budget, and submit the obtained estimate to you, the client. We also meet with the chosen construction company to study the final details. The budget will then be adjusted appropriately and brought to a close with the final document provided to the client.
We proceed here with the finalised blueprint and communication exchanged with the construction company. Construction is initiated. Communication is also followed through with updates via telephone, fax and emails along with visits to the site by Shigeo Nakamura Design Office.
Ｓtep 8・Completion Inspection / Follow Up
At the completion of the construction a final check of everything takes place, including the concerns relating to regulations and equipment specifications and functioning. If there is an incomplete matter, the necessary adjustments will be listed and provided to the construction company or appropriate manufacturer for appropriate maintenance. As an optional feature Shigeo Nakamura Design Office is able to be design the business cards, flyer/ handout/ promotions brochure, and even the homepage, if required.
