I was in charge of the interior design of a Japanese restaurant that opened in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

It has a great location on the main street of the old town.

With future chain expansion in mind, we aimed for a design that would give a sense of Japan, using materials that can be found in any country and on a small scale. With only wooden latticework on the ceiling and walls, you can feel the strong and iconic traditional Japanese lines inside the store. The chairs and tables are designed with the same torii gate motif as the logo.
